The full course of antenatal education includes:
- Positive Labour and Birth Workshop
- Give Birth Without Fear Workshop
- New Baby Workshop
- Breastfeeding Workshop
- A comprehensive information booklet to refer back to.
- Beyond Midwives Colostrum Collection kit (includes syringes, freezer bag. ice block, and labels)
- Birth Preferences/Plan template provided
- One Private Midwife Consultation
- Refreshments provided

Information
- Suitable from 24 weeks gestation
- The full course is available monthly and delivered by registered and experienced health professionals.
- The length of each session is 4.5 hrs (30 minute break).
- Fruit and refreshments will be provided.
- Booking includes partner/companion (recommended).
- Price £235 (£58.75 per workshop)
- Individual workshops available – If course dates are an issue, please get in touch so we can arrange the reduced price if booking 4 x workshops individually

Positive Labour and Birth Workshop
This workshop offers a deeper understanding of the stages of labour and birth. Some of the topics covered are signs of labour, types of birth, pain relief, emergencies and interventions, and induction of labour.

Positive Labour and Birth + Give Birth Without Fear workshops
The two workshops together offer the opportunity to achieve a physiologically safe and an emotionally safe labour and birth experience for the birthing mum, birth partner, and for baby. Learn methods to help reduce labour discomfort and shorten length of labour.

New Baby + Breastfeeding Workshops
This course will help you to feel fully prepared to care for a new baby and support baby to achieve the healthiest start in life. Both workshops offer important information about your baby's physical and emotional future health.

New Baby Workshop
This workshop will prepare you to care for your baby and help you feel confident. Some of the topics covered will include the first 24hrs and first 28 days, what to look out for, and sleep safety.

Breastfeeding Workshop
This workshop offers everything you need to know to successfully breastfeed your baby and feel confident. There will be practical elements during the workshop using knitted breasts and dolls. You will learn how to recognise baby is getting enough and avoid complications

Give Birth Without Fear
Give Birth Without Fear is a technique developed in Sweden by Susanna Heli. This technique is different to hypnobirthing in the way that it uses strategies suitable for any type of birth rather than scripts and mindfulness techniques.
