Beyond Midwives Refunds and Cancellation Policy

Your appointments and wellbeing are very important to us. We understand that unexpected circumstances can occur, and you make need to make changes to commitments. However, workshops are kept small intentionally. Therefore, we would appreciate notice if cancellation or changes are required. Please read through our cancellation policy before booking.

Workshops

• We respectfully request that you cancel workshops at least four weeks in advance. This may give others an opportunity to take your place. If you cancel four or more weeks in advance, we will offer you a full refund. Cancellations can either be made by telephone, email or in person during opening hours (see contact details). We would not charge a cancellation fee. Refunds will be processed within 14 days.
• If you have booked a course, you must attend all sessions for the date allocated. If you are unable to attend one or two of the workshops, it may be possible to attend another workshop subject to availability. Unfortunately, we can not offer a refund for workshops not attended.
• It may be possible to transfer your place to a friend, however that person must contact us in advance to ensure suitability.
• Any cancellation made between 2 and 4 weeks in advance would result in a 50% cancellation fee.
• Unfortunately, if cancellations are within 2 weeks, we cannot offer a refund. However, we do understand that the particular workshop booked may no longer be suitable for your needs. In this situation, we will do our very best to offer a replacement service or another workshop to suit your needs or availability.
• If you want to swap to another workshop (dependant on original booking). We will not charge you a transfer fee. However, transfers are dependent on availability and suitability.
• In exceptional circumstances, we may need to change your booking. If this occurs, we will offer you a suitable alternative. If this is not acceptable, we will offer you a full refund. Refunds will be processed within 14 days.
• If you booked a workshop and your baby arrives before you have the opportunity to attend, we will offer you a postnatal workshop, or credit to the same value.
• If your cancellation is due to your pregnancy not continuing for any reason, please let us know so that we can offer you one to one support.

Therapies, Midwife consultations, Perinatal Mental Health Services, Pregnancy Yoga

• If you cancel two or more weeks in advance, we will offer you a full refund. Cancellations can either be made by telephone, email or in person (see contact details). We would not charge a cancellation fee. Refunds will be processed within 14 days.
• Please understand that appointment times are limited. Therefore, cancellations within 2 weeks of appointments will incur a 50% cancellation fee. Refunds of the remaining 50% will be processed within 14 days.
• Unfortunately, we will be unable to offer a refund if cancellation is within 1 week of appointment. However, we may be able to offer a suitable alternative dependent on availability and your wishes.
• In exceptional circumstances, we may need to change your booking. If this occurs, we will offer you a suitable alternative. If this is not acceptable, we will offer you a full refund. Refunds will be processed within 14 days.
• If you booked an antenatal therapy and your baby arrives before your appointment, we will be able to offer a suitable postnatal therapy.
• If your cancellation is due to your pregnancy not continuing for any reason, please let us know so that we can offer you one to one support.
• If you are more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, we may not be able to accommodate you. In this case we would reschedule the appointment to a time that is convenient for you.
• If you do not attend your appointment, we will be unable to offer a refund. However, we will do our very best to rearrange another appointment that is convenient for you.

Breastfeeding Consultations and Tongue Tie appointments 

• If you cancel two or more weeks in advance, we will offer you a full refund. Cancellations can either be made by telephone, email or in person (see contact details). We would not charge a cancellation fee. Refunds will be processed within 14 days.
• Please understand that appointment times are limited. Therefore, cancellations within 2 weeks of appointments will incur a £30 cancellation fee. Refunds of the remaining amount will be processed within 14 days.
• A cancellation within 24hrs of appointment time, will incur a £50 cancellation fee. Refunds of the remaining amount will be processed within 14 days.
• In exceptional circumstances, we may need to change your booking. If this occurs, we will offer you a suitable alternative. If this is not acceptable, we will offer you a full refund. Refunds will be processed within 14 days.
• If you are more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, we may not be able to accommodate you. In this case we would reschedule the appointment to a time that is convenient for you.
