Life is full of surprises which can be at times challenging to deal with. Pregnancy, birth, and the postnatal period are a time of change and adjustments. Having a baby, and becoming a parent is a life changing event. It can be a happy, exciting time, but it can also be a time of worry and uncertainty. It can leave us feeling vulnerable. Reaching out for help is not a weakness. It is a sign of strength and courage!
As a counsellor I am able to provide you with a safe, non-judgmental space to explore, address and process difficulties and worries which may be part of your journey to parenthood. I want to empower you and help you find the confidence in yourself and your abilities. I have an excellent understanding of the birthing journey, perinatal mental health and its impact on the mother, the baby, the partner and the family unit as a whole. Whether you are a Mum or a Dad I can offer you my support.
