What we offer
-
One to one counselling sessions, face to face, by telephone, or video, with BACP Registered therapeutic counsellor and perinatal mental health Midwife Anna. You can request an initial call to discover if counselling will be beneficial for you.
OR
- Individual Therapy & 7-Session Framework: For more in-depth therapy, or to enrol into a structured 7-session Navigating Parenthood framework, please reach out to BACP Accredited Psychotherapist, Ummayah.
Whether you are looking for open-ended support or a focused roadmap, Ummayah provides a dedicated space to navigate the profound transitions of pregnancy and early parenthood. She is here to help you find clarity and grounding, whether you are managing perinatal anxieties, processing a birth experience that didn’t go as planned, or navigating the complex identity shifts of becoming a parent.
Phase 1: Assessment & Foundation (Sessions 1–2) Begin by exploring your history and current transition. This phase is dedicated to building a supportive relationship, identifying the core patterns or anxieties you are navigating, and defining the primary goals for our time together. The pace is always tailored to your needs.
Phase 2: Deep Work & Integration (Sessions 3–5) This is the heart of the work. Actively unpack the identity shifts, relationship dynamics, or reproductive anxieties you are facing. Through a collaborative approach, Ummayah will help you develop tailored emotional regulation tools and explore the ‘why’ behind your current challenges.
Phase 3: Review, Reflection & Future Autonomy (Sessions 6–7) Final sessions, review your progress, reflect on the psychological shifts you have navigated, and consolidate the tools you have acquired. Focus is on establishing long-term autonomy, ensuring you feel confident and capable in managing your emotional landscape as you move forward.
