It’s really difficult to know from research online which antenatal support will work for you but there was just something different about beyond midwives. From the first class I knew I’d made the right decision. Both Maria and Nadia don’t run their business just for the numbers, they genuinely care about each woman (and partner!) that comes through their doors. I felt much more prepared for my baby’s arrival and even afterwards was supported by Maria via different healing therapies. I had an acupuncture session with Nadia to try and improve sciatica pain I’ve developed in the last trimester. Analgesia and stretches haven’t really help but I’ve not had acupuncture before and didn’t know what to expect. It was absolutely amazing, this place is just lovely. Don’t even know where to start from the moment I met them in my second trimester to now having a 4 month old, they have been kind, caring and supportive. They taught me so much in regards to pregnancy and birth, what to expect, how to advocate for myself and then afterwards helping with postpartum issues, breastfeeding and having a newborn.
